Publication scheme

On this page:

What is a publication scheme?

We are required by the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act to develop and maintain a Publication Scheme.

The scheme sets out classes of information that we routinely publish or intend to publish in future.

It indicates:

If you are considering making a request for information, you should first check the Publication Scheme to see if we have already made it available publicly.

To learn more about our Publication Scheme, please refer to the document Publication Scheme - Jan 09,  which can be downloaded from the documents panel on the right hand side.

Classes of information

The Publication Scheme document is divided into broad subject headings to help you find the information you are looking for. Under each heading are classes of information that we publish or intend to publish.

Documents and information that fall within our classes of information are subject to our corporate retention schedule. If you cannot find the information you are seeking on our website, please refer to the document archive section in case it has been archived. Some documents and information will only be available until they reach the end of their retention period.
