About the London region

Gareth Britten is the Regional Director responsible for civil and criminal legal aid in London.

With its population of more than 7 million London is the largest city in Western Europe. It comprises 33 London boroughs, including the City of London and City of Westminster.

The London Regional Office has around 150 staff, including the specialist National Immigration & Asylum Team, which handles immigration work from all over the country. There is also an operations team handling Legal Aid applications.
