Forms
This section contains information, forms and materials that will be of use to legal aid providers we have a formal contract with.
These materials are only available in English and fall outside the scope of the LSC’s Welsh Language policy.
As part of the implementation of our Welsh Language Scheme, we have a number of our forms available in Welsh as well as English. The Welsh or Bilingual forms will be made available in a similar design and to the same standards as the English versions.
Certain CLS and CDS forms are available in Welsh. View or download them on the Welsh language version of this page.

Wales Committee for the CLS
The Wales Committee for the Community Legal Service (CLS) was officially launched on 2 March 2007.
Its purpose is to strengthen and improve the delivery of the Community Legal Service in Wales by bringing together policy makers and funders of legal and advice services.
It helps with planning of other public services which impact on clients’ legal advice service needs.
The Committee produced its first annual report in July 2008, followed by its second annual report in July 2009.
See 'Documents' on the right hand side of this page for the meeting minutes and Annual Reports.
Making Legal Rights a Reality in Wales
Making Legal Rights a Reality in Wales is a joint policy paper between the LSC and the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG).Provider Reference Groups
The meeting summaries and papers from recent Provider Reference Group (PRG) meetings are published here. Please see 'Documents' on the right hand side of this page.
Family legal aid funding consultation workshops
Half day workshops are being held to discuss proposals contained in our consultation on Family Legal Aid Funding from 2010, which runs until 18 March 2009.
This event is designed to explain how we developed our proposals; what was included and excluded and why; and the parameters of the consultation. It gives you the opportunity to ask questions, challenge our assumptions, clarify your thinking and influence ours.
Although the workshop includes an overview of our proposals, the focus is on discussion and, therefore, we encourage you to read the consultation before attending this event.
By attending, we hope that it will be easier for you to formalise your views on our proposals in a written response. Because this is an important consultation, we would like significant input from all family legal aid providers.
Once you have registered, we will send you further details about the workshop. Places are limited and we therefore encourage you to return this registration form as early as possible. The registration form can be found on the right hand side of this page.
Translation and Interpretation Services
A 'One-Stop-Shop' is now available to provide translation and interpretation services in Wales.
Wales Interpretation and Translation Service (WITS) is now providing full lingusitic services 24 hours a day, providing linguistic services in foreign languages, Welsh and British Sign Language (BSL).
Organisations can now request interpreters or translators via telephone on 02920 8575000 or by email to wits@gwent.pnn.police.uk
Further details of the service, including relevant costs, can be found in the documents section of this page.
