We have now received the written judgment following the Law Society’s Judicial Review of the family tender. We have until Thursday 28 October to decide whether to pursue an appeal.

The LSC remains committed to ensuring that vulnerable people across England and Wales have access to justice.

Earlier this week we announced our intention to extend the current family contracts until 15 December while we reflect on the judgment.

We will update you on our next steps once we have fully considered the detail of the written judgment and its implications, including whether to appeal.
