Owing to a delay in publishing the draft contract documentation relating to the Barking and Dagenham CLA Centre the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and the Legal Services Commission have taken the decision to extend the deadline for submitting tender bids until 12 Noon on Friday 29 January 2010. 

This will allow potential bidders to review the draft contract documentation whilst drawing up their bids.  The draft contract documents are now available on the Barking and Dagenham CLA Centre tender webpage. 

As part of this deadline extension we will allow interested parties to submit questions on the contract documentation.  Any questions in relation to any part of the contract documentation should be submitted to CLS policy by 12 Noon on Friday 15 January 2010. 

Answers to any questions submitted will be published on the Council’s website no later than Friday 22 January 2010. 

As a result of the deadline extension the anticipated opening of the CLA Centre will now be put back by one month until the 3rd May 2010.
