On 22 December 2009, the LSC launched the Delivery Transformation programme eForms pilot.

Initially, the pilot group was made up of six Provider firms, all taking advantage of the benefits associated with completing and submitting both CLS and CDS claim forms online.

Based on some positive feedback, an additional six providers joined the eForms pilot in February 2010. The pilot has subsequently been extended to a further 16 firms.

Providers will go-live with eForms during Spring/Summer 2010.  There will be a phased approach to provider take-on, to ensure a smooth and sustainable launch.

Feedback from the pilots show the eForms release has been well received:

• it allowed the team to make improvements to system/process and these are now being tested and implemented
• it also indicated face-to-face training is not necessary as the training CD together with the 'quick reference guides' provide sufficient information in a user friendly format to use the system.
