Update on 2010 Civil Contract tenders
04 August 2010Latest news on tender notifications
Social Welfare Law and Family
Almost all organisations have now received notification of their tender outcome.
Areas where due diligence checks are ongoing are listed on our SWL & Family tendering pages. Notifications are being sent out through the eTendering messaging system.
Low volume categories
We previously told organisations that we aimed to provide notification of the tender outcomes at the end of July.
Owing to the volume of appeals, questions and correspondence relating to the Social Welfare Law and Family tenders, we haven't yet been able to do this. We'll therefore notify organisations during August.
Latest information is available on the Low volume categories tendering pages.
Queries and eTender messages
We're receiving a high volume of messages through the eTendering system. We had aimed to respond to messages within 3-4 days. However, owing to the high volumes, responses may take slightly longer.
We aim to provide a response no later than 7 working days from the date of receipt.
An FAQ document on notifications is on the SWL and Family tendering pages. Organisations should review this FAQ in the first instance and submit a question through the eTendering system only if this does not answer their question.
Appeals
Deadlines for the receipt of appeals is two weeks after notification and rights of appeal are set out in the Information For Applicants. If a letter states that the deadline for appeal is 7 August, organisations must submit their appeal by 12 midnight on 7 August.
Appeals should be sent via the eTendering message system. Appeals will not be considered until after the appeal deadline and we'll notify organisations of the outcome through the eTendering system. We are aiming to consider appeals in approximately one month.
Please note, appeals will be prioritised where:
- Organisations have been assessed as unsuccessful and as a result have no contract offer
- Organisations have been unsuccessful in their tender for Housing and have also tendered for Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme work.
