We have published our fee scheme for Mental Health work.

The fees will apply to all Controlled Work in Mental Health from 1 January 2008.

We have developed the scheme following our consultation Legal aid: a sustainable future. We have made a number of improvements in response to issues raised by practitioners and other respondents.

We have also launched a consultation on the Mental Heath 'category specific' section of the Civil Specfiication of the Unified Contract. 

Subject to consultation, this section will replace the terms of the existing Mental Health 'category specific' section of the Unified Contract's Specification with effect from 1 January 2008.
