Unified Contract Specification - Family Mediation category specific provisions

On this page:

About this consultation

Following the announcement of the new fee scheme for Family Mediation on 22 June 2007, we have now published for consultation the Family Mediation Specification.

We have already consulted on the new fees and on any clauses that will be amended, such as when it is appropriate to reopen a case for a returning client.

The rest of the changes are designed to simplify existing clauses or add more detail where necessary. The summary sheet under Documents outlines what clauses have been amended.

The main purpose of the new section is to give effect to the new civil fee schemes. The section therefore contains the proposed fees and detailed rules for undertaking Family Mediation work.
