The Funding Criteria for Child Care Proceedings consultation
We consulted for 12 weeks from March 2007 about proposed changes to our funding criteria for representation in Child Care proceedings, namely:
- introducing merits criteria for representation in certain public law cases
- the removal of residential assessments from the scope of public funding.
A summary of responses received is under Related Documents together with the consultation document.
Our response to this consultation is published in the document 'Family and Family Mediation Fee Schemes for October 2007' on the CLS>Consultations>Family fee schemes page.
Draft Amendments to the Funding Code for October 2007
Both of our family consultations, covering the introduction of Family Help and reforming our criteria for funding child care proceedings (above), require changes to the Funding Code.
We have prepared draft amendments to the Code criteria and procedures to achieve this.
This document forms an annex to the 'Funding Criteria for Child Care Proceedings' consultation above and is under Related Documents.
