About this consultation

Following our six week consultation on the Unified Contract’s General Specification, we have carefully considered all respondents' views and have published our response ‘Review of responses to the consultation on the General Specification' (see Documents). 

We have now published the latest draft version of the General Specification, Family, Immigration and Miscellaous Category Specfic Sections.

The Specification (including the Payment Annex setting out the Standard and Graduated Fees and Hourly Rates) will be implemented from October 2007.

Review of responses to the Immigration Detention Advice Specification

Our post-consultation report on the draft Unified Contract Immigration category specific Detention Advice Specification is under Documents. It provides:

 • a background to the report 
 • a summary of the responses to the draft contract clauses.

This report should be read in conjunction with the Unified Contract Standard Terms, the Civil and Immigration Specifications and draft version of the Immigration Detention Specification, found on the CLS>Unified Contract page.
