Why sign up?
LSC Online offers several key benefits to eligible providers who register. It’s secure, simple to use and fast.

Civil and criminal reporting through one easy interface
Providers holding both civil and criminal contracts can review and submit monthly controlled work. You need only register once. It’s easy to switch between contracts and associated offices via the site.
Extended submission date
By using LSC Online you don’t have to send claims to our processing centres. The cut off date for claims submitted electronically is the 20th of each month. This compares to claims needing to arrive at our processing centres by the 10th.
No lost DX or postal claims
Survey results showed some providers had experienced lost monthly reports that were sent to processing centres. This is both frustrating and costly and it may mean a monthly payment will not be triggered.
Using LSC Online means information cannot be lost in this way.
Error checking
Providers using LSC Online keep greater control over the accuracy of their data. Claim data is checked for errors and omissions. Any problems are highlighted and must be corrected before LSC Online will accept the report.
Submission confirmation
Claims entered to LSC Online are processed overnight. Providers are emailed confirmation of a successful submission the following day.
This assures the claim has been successfully submitted and the monthly payment will be triggered where applicable.
Financial statements
Providers can instantly access their financial statements, which they can view and print from the site. These are generated from the main LSC database. They are exactly the same as the statement that providers currently request from their regional offices.
Printable submission report
Submission reports contain:
- a brief summary of each claim
- a running total of costs
- matter starts for each month.
Providers can print off a summary of submissions before sending their report.
Dedicated marketing and support staff
LSC Online has its own team of support staff to respond to general enquiries and queries relating to the service.
