The Preferred Supplier pilot scheme remains ongoing. The 25 participating firms and advice agencies continue to be supported by Relationship Managers.
Consultation
The Preferred Supplier consultation ‘Quality Relationships Delivering Quality Outcomes’ was launched on 20 March 2006 and closed on 12 June 2006.
Implementation
We published our 'Plan Linking the Roll Out of Quality Assessment for Preferred Supplier and Best Value Tendering' on 7 March 2007. The roll out of Preferred Supplier reflects and enables the overall timetable for the procurement reforms.
