Mediation Quality Mark update
As we will be introducing new contracts for providers in 2010 we have also reviewed the Mediation Quality Mark (MQM).
The second edition of the MQM standard and guidance is now available for download (see 'For more information' section below). The changes will take effect from 2010.
The revisions to the standard are quite minor. We've updated the MQM to make it more generic, remove requirements specific to LSC contracts and reflect changes in terminology and law. Requirements specific to legal aid work will now be included in our contracts (eg supervisor requirements).
The most significant change is the revision to the Equality and Diversity requirements.

You can see the new standards and a summary of the changes made under the Documents section of this page. There is also an FAQ document (SQM and MQM frequently asked questions), which can be found under Specialist Help.About this Quality Mark
