What Summary
Community Legal Service Funding Order 2007  This Order replaces the Community Legal Service (Funding) Order 2000 and contains a new schedule which sets out revised remuneration rates which will be payable for funded services, thereby removing reliance on regulations made under the Legal Aid Act 1988
Community Legal Service Fund: Regulatory Framework

Statutory instruments made under both the Legal Aid Act 1988 and the Access to Justice Act 1999

Access to Justice Act 1999 (Commencement No. 3, and Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 2000. ‘The Commencement Order’ By virtue of this Order the provisions of the 1999 Act relating to the LSC and the Community Legal Service took effect on 1 April 2000
Community Legal Service (Funding) Order 2000 Limits the powers of the LSC under section 6(3)(b) and (e) of the Act. These sub-sections deal respectively with payments to providers other than by contract, loan or grant and grants and loans to individual clients
Community Legal Service (Financial) Regulations 2000 Contain the financial eligibility limits and the rules about means testing and contributions for all levels of services funded as part of the Community Legal Service
Community Legal Service (Costs) Regulations 2000 and Community Legal Services (Cost Protection Regulations 2000) Defines the scope of a funded client's protection against full costs under section 11(1) of the Act, and the circumstances in which costs may be awarded against the Community Legal Service Fund
Legal Services Commission (Disclosure of Information) Regulations 2000 These Regulations replicate the effect of the Legal Aid (Disclosure of Information) Regulations 1991
Community Legal Service (Funding) (Counsel in Family Proceedings) Order 2001 This Order created the Family Graduated Fee Scheme. This is the Nov 07 version with tracked changes
Civil Legal Aid (General) Regulations 1989 These Regulations are preserved by Article 5(1)(a) of the Commencement Order and Articles 4 and 6 of the Funding Order
Legal Aid in Civil Proceedings (Remuneration) Regulations 1994 and Legal Aid in Family Proceedings (Remuneration) Regulations 1991 These Regulations remain relevant for new cases by virtue of Article 5 of the Funding Order (which restricts remuneration under the '99 Act by reference to these Regulations) and Section 6 of the General Civil Contract Specification
