About Focus
Focus informs people doing legal aid work about issues that affect them. It includes:
- updates on policies, initiatives and projects
- the latest legal and financial guidance from the LSC.
A typical issue contains:
- news about recent events, decisions, announcements and initiatives
- new eligibility rates every spring and updates on remuneration
- points of principle: summaries of important decisions made by the costs appeals committee
- guidance: a summary of the latest changes
- payment dates.
How can I subscribe?
To receive an email telling you when the latest issue has been published go to Subscribe to publications and add your details. You can use the same form to subscribe to our LSC Update news alert.
Publication schedule
We publish about 4 issues a year. When we move Focus online, we expect this to increase. We'll post a schedule on this page when this is finalised.
