Crown Court Means Testing – forms and guidance
02 March 2010Keeping you up to date as CCMT is rolled out
As Crown Court Means Testing rolls out nationally the LSC want to ensure solicitors and courts have all materials necessary for the change.
Therefore we will provide each firm (which is registered on the duty solicitor call centre scheme in that area) and the corresponding magistrates with:
- a supply of the new April 2010 version of the CDS14 and CSD15 forms and;
- a copy of the criminal legal aid manual which is the comprehensive guidance on the new process
These will be provided 2 weeks prior to solicitors and courts joining the scheme.
The expected distribution dates for each region are as follows:
| Region | Date they join the scheme | Forms & guidance received |
| South west | 12 April | w/c 29 March |
| Midlands | 26 April | w/c 12 April |
| North west | 10 May | w/c 26 April |
| North east | 17 May | w/c 3 May |
| Wales | 24 May | w/c 10 May |
| South east | 14 June | w/c 31 May |
| London | 28 June | w/c 14 June |
Further note for solicitors
