New functions added to Crown Court Litigator Fee (CCLF) online
17 July 2008Improvements will be live by 25 July
Since we launched Crown Court Litigator Fee (CCLF) our online system to claim litigator fees, we have developed several improvements.
These will go live over the next few days.
What's changed?
We have already made changes to the way VAT payments are recorded on CCLF. This helps identify the portion of the payment in a case that relates to VAT.
Two more interim payment scenarios will be released on 24 July, p.m. These are:
- the ability to claim an interim payment where a client has absconded and is wanted on warrant but has not been rearrested. You can make a claim for payment up to the point in the case that the client absconded, as long as the case fits the claiming rules under the Regulations.
- providers may now make representations for interim payments where they face hardship, where the situation fits the claiming rules under the Regulations.
What guidance is there?
We have updated the CCLF user guide and it will be available on the CCLF pages next week.
We will also update the litigator graduated fee scheme guidance manual, which provides information on the Regulations and the fees, by the end of next week.
