Criminal legal aid claim limits

Important information regarding claim limits

Further to our recent distribution of the ‘fair justice, fair price’ quick guide to Early Cover, Pre-Order Cover and the Form Completion Fee, it has become apparent that there may be some misunderstanding regarding the limits for claims made against these codes.

Claims under these elements of the scheme are payable either as a fixed fee, or variable to an upper limit as follows:

Claims for travel, waiting and disbursements are not allowed for submissions against these codes.
