We help to represent clients involved with Crown Court proceedings. We are accountable for all higher court expenditure.
We have introduced a revised fee scheme for counsel advocates and a new graduated fee scheme for litigators involved in legally aided Crown Court work.

Establishing Pages of Prosecution Evidence (PPE)
An improved way of establishing the pages of prosecution evidence (PPE) for Crown Court cases came into effect 1 May.
A review group was set up last November and consisted of representatives from the:
- Legal Services Commission
- Crown Prosecution Service
- Ministry of Justice
- Her Majesty's Court Service
- the Legal Aid Practitioners Group.
It examined best practice across the country and recommended a new process for establishing PPE be implemented .
The new process for establishing PPE in crown court cases is contained in an easy to follow flowchart.
There is also the PPE confirmation form to be completed by the advocate on behalf of the defence team.
