Response to consultation and Final Impact Assessment
The Litigator Graduated Fee Scheme (LGFS) consultation closed on 7 August 2007. We have now published our response to consultation and final impact assessment, which can be found in related documents.
We have also made available a calculator for providers to calculate fees that they would expect to receive under the LGFS.
Using the payment calculator
Our Litigator Graduated Fee Scheme (LGFS) calculator is designed for legal aid practitioners.
The LGFS calculator will enable providers to calculate the fees payable to them under the LGFS.
The calculator is simple, free of charge and can be accessed through an excel spreadsheet. Most people will be able to access them.
Full guidance on using the LGFS payment calculator is outlined on the first page of the calculator under ‘guidance’.
